A curious blend of rock and lounge, mellow yet groovy.
Fronted by singer/guitarist mmm, taro is a Tokyo-based trio featuring Emerson Kitamura on synths and Yuta Suganuma on drums.

mmm and Kitamura began collaborating as a duo in 2016, and in 2020, Suganuma joined as a guest drummer, completing the trio. They released their self-titled EP in 2025 under their newly adopted name, taro.
