I was born on June 12, 1997, in Koga City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. I am usually a member of the three-piece band called "Synapse", but "Emotional Disturbance", which I produced this time, is the complete solo album of mine. I have released three albums with the band, and as solo work, I have previously released a mini-album called "Nanashi no Maria" under the name of “D. Falkenburg.”
As for my solo album this time, I recorded everything at home, and managed to complete the mixing and mastering with the help of Beard, my old friend and also a great beat maker.
The reason why I decided to release this album with my real name, Suzunosuke Nakashima, not the alias, “D. Falkenburg”, is because I was sentenced to be dismissed by the end of this year. I had to hide the fact that I am a musician due to my job for a long time, but finally they fired me. Actually, I believe I am very lucky to be dismissed because that means I can be free soon. I decided to stop living my life timidly. I decided to live my life intensely under my true self.
Creating works for me seems to be an internal supplement or compensation for the serious feelings of emptiness, desolation, loneliness, lack, anxiety, insufficiency, distrust, sadness, grief, hatred, confusion, and lust that cling deeply to me. In other words, it could be the will to conquer them while I know it is impossible.
