Kazuyoshi Nakamura
Born in Edogawa-ku, Tokyo / 18 February 1975 / Type A

He made his debut in 1997 with the single 'Inu to Neko/Koko ni iru'.
His debut album, Kinjitou, was produced and recorded almost entirely by himself. It had a huge impact on the Japanese rock scene with its uniquely Japanese lyrics and outstanding pop sensibilities.
Many listeners were drawn to his diverse musicality, which evolved with each album, and his meticulously constructed sonic world.

In the summer of 2001, while performing at an outdoor festival under the name Kazuyoshi Nakamura, the six members (Kazuyoshi Nakamura, vocals; Takashi Ikeda, keys; Masahiro Machida, guitar; Shinichi Ono, guitar; Hiroo Yamaguchi, bass; Toyomu Tamada, drums) gathered to perform together.
The band "100s" (hyaku-shiki) was formed by these six members in 2004. They have released three albums to date.

In 2012, on the 15th anniversary of their debut, they resumed their activities under the name of Kazuyoshi Nakamura for the first time in almost 10 years. At the end of the same year, he performed at the Nippon Budokan "Haku-Ai-Haku 2012". This event brought together all the great artists he has been associated with.

Since then, he has been actively performing in various forms. These include acoustic live performances, rock 'n' roll band style performances in live houses, and special band formations in indoor venues.
In February 2020, he released his tenth original album of his career, 'Ten'.
