古舘佑太郎

April 5, 1991, born and raised in Tokyo.
Started a band called "The SALOVERS" in 2008, on vocals and guitar. After the band went on an indefinite hiatus in March 2015, he moved into solo work. Then in March 2017, he started a new band "2". The band paused again in June 2021, came back on February 22, 2022 under the name "THE 2", and eventually wrapped things up on February 22, 2024.
On the acting side, he made his debut in the 2014 film "Hibi Rock", and has since appeared in projects like the NHK morning drama "Hiyokko", the film "Narratage", and the NHK Taiga drama "Hikaru Kimi e". He has also had lead roles in films such as "Ichigo no Uta" and "I’m Crazy".
In March 2025, he released his first book, "Off to Kathmandu: A Travel-Hater’s Intense Journey Through 10 Asian Countries", published by Gentosha.
