Hali koryo is a three-piece post rock band formed in 2022. Influenced especially by Zankyo music, the Japanese iconic post rock music scene, the band expresses its unique sounds on the strength of changing beats, song progression, and complex lyrics.
The arpeggio-driven guitar phrases over a simple bass line, and the drums, which sometimes put tricky patterns, are reminiscent of math rock and midwest emo.
