Led by Onizawa Mashiro, “Hanshakaiteki Sandals” (Anti-Social Sandals) was formed in March 2021 when he was 17. They released "Menthol World Heritage" in November. In April 2022, they changed their band name to “Chou ☆Shakaiteki Sandals” (Ultra☆Social Sandals) and started live activities in Tokyo’s Shimokitazawa. In April 2023, guitarist Takemaster joined, completing the current lineup. In the summer of 2023, they won the audition for the festival Summer Sonic 2023 and had their first performance there. They were selected as finalists for the music competition "My Navi Flash of Riot 2023," and captivated the audience with a powerful live performance at Zepp DiverCity. In November, they will hold an event for Onizawa Mashiro's birthday at Shimokitazawa Basement Bar, along with the long-awaited digital release of the song "Cute Yuna-chan." An EP release is planned for late January 2024.
