BimBomBam Gakudan / BimBomBam Orchestra

Formed in 2015 by Ohyama “B.M.W.” Wataru, the trumpeter of the famous Samurai Jazz Band PE’Z, and Daisuke Teshima, the number 1 Gipsy jazz guitarist in Japan.
To these two core members have been added as official members Yasuo Yamato on the double-bass, and Mahiro Okuda on percussion.

Based on the concept of “a space for food, people and music to blend together”, BimBomBam Orchestra incorporates various gipsy influences in their sound, starting with the “Jazz manouche” movement originated in France.

They have released multiple works, but the performance dimension is also essential to them : they tour tirelessly, and their last album available, “BBB LIVE”, released in December 2019, is a live one.

From May 2020, they started a series of single releases with the track “UPSIDE DOWN”, which was selected to be the cover of the Spotify editorial playlist “X-Over Jazz!”.
