caico

caico is a new band formed in the summer of 2025 by Shota Kagamido (vocals/guitar) and Rai Narushima (bass) of Sulyvahn (currently on hiatus) and Shusuke Tkanao (guitar), a member of Submarine, both of which were active in Kyoto.

The band's sound is influenced by '90s UK rock and '00s Japanese alternative rock, and is characterized by vocalist Shota Kagamido's compelling, refreshing, and overwhelming vocal talent.
Each member is working hard every day to sublimate the experiences they've gained in their musical careers to new forms.

They plan to release their debut single, "Hometown," on December 10, 2025.

To commemorate the release of the album, the band will hold their first independent event at Kyoto livehouse nano on January 11, 2026.
Guest acts include Autocord, Akane Streaking Crowd, and yoei.
