Daisy Jaine

Hailing from Japan, Daisy Jaine are a three-piece psychedelic band consisting of Rio (vocals and guitar), Yokoyama (bass), and Juon (drums).

During his years spent overseas in Boston, frontman Rio began developing his signature sound. This pivotal moment in his life influencing his music both sonically and lyrically.

Daisy Jaine released their first EP “Under the Sun” via Dead Funny Records in October 2017.

From their debut EP, their song “Desert Meets Forest” was featured on the official Japanese Spotify playlist “Kira Kira Pop: Japan”, with sound that achieves a great blend of 60’s nostalgic atmosphere and synth-driven moderness with colorful brightness.

Their second EP “Banksia” releases November 2021, with all tracks recorded at frontman Rio’s own “Moonage Studio.”
