HINTO
Formed around Kousei Abe and Shinichi Ito following the disbandment of SPARTA LOCALS in 2010, the band released their first full-length album, “She See Sea,” on June 27, 2012.
Their regular supporting bassist, Tabasa Hayashi, left the band after their live performance at Shibuya CLUB QUATTRO on December 30, 2012, due to treatment for tenosynovitis.
In January 2013, Kousei Abe’s younger brother, Mitsuhiro Abe—also a former member of SPARTA LOCALS—joined the band, solidifying the current lineup.
In 2017, they established their independent label, Cat Fish Label, and released their first EP, “LAST NIGHT,” in October of the same year.
In December 2021, they released a split single, “≠,” with SPARTA LOCALS, who have also been active again since reuniting in December 2016.
A band that creates a unique sound, blending strangeness with a strong sense of pop.
