Hoboken Surprise

Hoboken Surprise is an alternative rock band based in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. The members are Katsuya Yamazaki (Gt., Vo.), Takumi Takashima (Ba.), and Takanori Haga (Dr.), who met in the same club at university. Yamazaki mainly writes the lyrics and composes the music, which is influenced by NOT WONK, Radiohead, Cloud Nothings, Yuck, and others.
In September 2021, they released "Hoboken Surprise", their first sound recording.
