LOBSTER

Formed in 2021 by Hide (drums), Ian (guitar), Niwano (guitar), Yoshinao (vox), and Yuki (bass), LOBSTER is taking their classic and post-punk roots and pushing the boundaries on an all-new sound. Filtering their varied musical influences through the lens of the UK’s evolving punk scene, with a lyrical attitude true to their Tokyo home.

A vocal cadence that flips between deadpan and aggressive, fronts instrumentation that meshes elements of punk, alternative, and 80’s rock. Rather than harmony, LOBSTER tracks verge on confrontational, with individual parts competing for space to create measured noise that somehow makes sense.
