LOLOET

In 2023, Ayaka Wada (Ayacho), one of Japan's famous idols, formed LOLOET with musicians in Tokyo while studying abroad in Paris in search of freer musical expression. After field recording in Paris and studio work in Tokyo, they released their first song, "SŒUR," in October 2023. After Wada returned to Japan in March 2024, they released "une petite pensée" on cassette tape and digitally on their own label. With an alternative musical style that incorporates ambient drones, DUB, experimental music, environmental music, and improvisation, they performs not only in live houses but also in bookstores, museums, art spaces, and other locations.
