mouse on the keys is an instrumental trio consisting of Akira Kawasaki (Drums), Daisuke Niitome (Piano/Keyboards), and Takamitsu Shiraeda (Piano/Keyboards). The band has earned acclaim both in Japan and internationally for its distinctive sound, driven by two pianos and drums, and for its live performances that seamlessly integrate music and visuals.
Celebrating their 20th anniversary in 2026, mouse on the keys is set to release their new EP, Portrait of Impulse, this autumn. Their creative drive remains as strong as ever, continuing to push their artistic expression into new territory.
