Muscle of the Soul

A post-rock/electronica/alternative band from Aichi, Japan. Over the course of their long career, the band has been influenced by a wide range of genres such as rock, post-rock, shoegaze, trip-hop, and house, and the color of their music has changed in a variety of ways. And their most appealing feature is their multiple songs that incorporate the essence of these genres in their flesh and blood, as well as the high-quality soundscapes created with the sophisticated sensibility of Taguchi, who also serves as recording engineer. After a year-long hiatus, the band resumed live performances, and changed their name to coincide with the release of their new song. "Muscle of the Soul” means ‘imagination and creativity,’ and is a simple expression of this band's ever-changing and ever-deepening sound.
