Nabi

“A place where creative desires are never restrained, where adults can remain as children.”
Carrying this concept, the band took the name “Nabi”, which means “butterfly” in Korean.
Though the members have reached adulthood, they gather as artists who continue to cherish the pure impulse of creation.

Nabi aspires to be a band that serves as a safe space—where both creators and listeners can share positive emotions freely through the time-based art of music.

In their songwriting process, lyrics and melodies are crafted by vocalist Young Kee, while the music is composed collaboratively by all members. This collective style allows each member’s emotions to merge, creating songs filled with shared intention and authenticity.

Visually, the band also embraces a deep creative involvement: Young Kee’s oil paintings, acrylic gouache works, and still-life photography are often used for album covers and artwork. From music and fashion to visual art, Nabi aims to shape a holistic artistic vision with the direct participation of its members.

Like butterflies spreading their wings, Nabi continues to soar freely, weaving works that resonate across generations and genres.
