Pho U

“Pho U” is a solo project by Haluna Ishigaki, a bassist who is a member of the band called “TAMTAM” based in Tokyo. The debut work "X-RAY" can be said to be a very personal work that faces herself as a composer, one step away from her character as a bass-player that she has shown so far.
This work was created without using the bass guitar. This is Minimal ambient / plant music that resonates with psychedelic electronic music such as Mort Garson's masterpiece "Mother Earth's Plantasia" and Green-House’s "Six Songs for Invisible Gardens".
With synthesizer and field recording sounds, she creates a comfortable sound that blends into everyday life. A total of 6 songs inspired by various places in the house, such as the calm ambient "Garden" that begins with the voice of a bird and the "Bathroom" that wraps around with a synth bass tone.
