POOLS

Formed in Kyoto in the summer of 2019, the indie and dream pop band POOLS consists of Miki Ryouhei (Vo/Gt), Ideno (Gt/Cho), and Noda (Ba/Cho). 

Armed with sweet&sour high-tone vocals, their music exudes a dreamy quality reminiscent of shoegaze and dream pop influences, carries irresistibly pop melodies and messages that captivate listeners. The band's characteristic guitar sound, influenced by overseas indie, expertly intertwines with compelling Japanese lyrics, delivering arrangements that appeal to both pop enthusiasts and music connoisseurs.

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, they have been actively releasing music and organizing independent events, establishing a firm presence in the Kansai region’s indie scene.
