SAGOSAID

SAGOSAID is a solo artist who creates music rooted in alternative and indie rock, presented in a full-band format. Her live performances are also delivered with a band setup.

While consistently releasing new work—including REIMEI (2021) and Tough Love Therapy (2023)—she also runs a music studio called Studio REIMEI in Nishi-Chofu, Tokyo.

In May, she released a new album titled itsumademo shinu noha kowai ?. Compared to her previous work, the guitars on this release stand out with a more solid edge, creating a sound that skillfully blends intensity with tenderness. The recording featured contributions from members including VINCE;NT and Verandah, who also support her live shows. The mastering was handled by Emily Lazar, a Grammy-winning engineer known for her work with David Bowie, BECK, and Vampire Weekend.
