Formed in 2017 by Yutaro Furutachi (ex. The SALOVERS) and Ryota Kato (ex. Ponytail Scream). On February 22, 2022, Natsuhiko Mori (ex. Shiggy Jr.), bassist, and Nao Utagawa (ex. Akai Koen), drummer, joined the band, and the band changed its name "2" to "THE 2". The band name means "episode 2" of the members' musical lives.
