THE BED ROOM TAPE
THE BED ROOM TAPE is the solo project of Japanese musician Kanade Kageyama.
Since its inception, the project has brought together some of the most distinctive voices in Japan’s music scene.
The self-titled debut THE BED ROOM TAPE (2013) featured collaborations with Nao Kodama, NAGAN SERVER, and Kimyo Reitaro.
This was followed by YARN (2015), which included contributions from Enon Kawatani and a remix by BudaMunk.
In 2016, UNDERTOW arrived, featuring Gotch and BASI, alongside a remix from Uyama Hiroto.
After a period of growth and exploration, Kageyama released the full-length album family line in 2022.
Continuing the project’s spirit of collaboration, a brand-new single featuring Kimyo Reitaro was released in August 2025.
