Velvet Sighs

Velvet Sighs is a rock band formed in Tokyo in 2019 founded by lead vocalist Emma (Emo) and guitarist REM (Rockstar). They named the band Velvet Sighs because they express many different colors of feelings in one band. Satisfied sighs, sad sighs, all kinds of sighs. With those sighs in mind, they released their first EP “Pretending” right after they formed the band. Take a look at the artwork in the album cover, you’ll see many colorful sighs.

After the release they were featured in a collaborative online live show with another Japanese band and two Korean bands. In December 2021, they released a DIY music video featuring their original song, “Sick” .
