Wu Mang

Wu Mang is the solo project of Shinji Miyauchi, former member of the Japanese bands Your Romance and Mistakes.

Universal melodies of 70's US & UK songwriters, synth-pop from the 80's and indie/alternative music of the 00's are some of the various influences that form Wu Mang’s signature sound. As a singer-songwriter, he sings about his past experiences, relationships and anxiety towards society in diary-like lyrics, with his distinctive deep voice.

Aiming at making an impact around the world, he embarked on a successful 8-gigs China tour in 2019.
In July 2020, he released his first single in over a year, “Everyone's waiting for someone,” accompanied by a music video from upcoming director Masaki Ueda.
