Tatsuya Kamei(Hot Buttered Record)
Tee Kamei is a Tokyo-based music producer, DJ, and video director.
He founded his own label Hot Buttered Record in Tokyo in 2012 and is also a founding member of FRIENDSHIP., a curated digital distribution platform known for delivering carefully selected music.
Since 1996, Tee has held numerous residencies across Tokyo’s club scene, specializing in disco dub, tech house, and acid-influenced sounds. He is also recognized as an avid record collector and the organizer behind acclaimed events such as Captain Vinyl, curated by DJ MURO and DJ NORI.
In 2025, he performed an open-to-close DJ set at UNIÓN VERI BARI in Mexico City, drawing more than 400 attendees for the all-night party.
As a VJ, Tee is active internationally—appearing at major festivals and stages such as Wonder Fruits Festival – The Quarry Stage (Thailand), Kaleidoscope Festival (Kenya), and Burning Club Festival (Bangladesh), among others.
