ダウン・バイ・ロー

The band’s roots trace back to 2023, when Matsuzawa (Vo./Comp.) and Handa (Gt./Lyrics) met and formed their previous unit, "Shoganai-zu." The lineup expanded with Mitani (Ba.) and Nakamura (Dr.), and after bringing in Handa’s high school best friend, Kobayashi, as a touring/support guitarist, "Dawn by Law" was officially born.
Active mainly in Tokyo, they craft music deeply inspired by 60s and 70s sounds. Their beautiful, inherently wistful melodies combine with simple, distinctive poetry to create a sound that somehow brings back memories of the childhood breeze we all used to bask in.

    • デビューシングル「ムーンライト」をリリース。7月1日リリースの1st EP『君を知りたい』からの先行曲となる本作は、“分かり合えなさ”を抱えたまま誰かを愛する切実さを、静かな熱量で描き出した1曲。60〜70年代ロックに影響を受けたノスタルジックなサウンドと、素朴で飾らない言葉が溶け合い、夜風のようにやさしく胸を撫でていく。“満月だと嬉しくなったよ”という一節に滲む、誰かが少しずつ自分の中に残っていく感覚が、淡くも深い余韻を残す。（）
