Toko Miura, born in 1996, is a professional actress from Hokkaido. She has performed in films by a number of prominent directors in Japan. She is best known internationally for her role in ‘Drive My Car (2021)’ by Ryusuke Hamaguchi, which won the Best International Feature Film at the 94th Academy Awards. Toko has also been active performing as a singer. She sang the theme songs in the hit animation feature, ‘Weathering with You’ (2019) by Makoto Shinkai, which earned over 193 million USD worldwide and was selected as the Japanese entry for Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards.
