DUCK HOUSE

DUCK HOUSE is an alternative band and shared-house-based music project formed in April 2022 in Daikokucho, Osaka.
The group originally began as a trio consisting of SOMAOTA (MC), Oumi (Pf, Vo), and INUI (Ba).
Through hosting independent events and live performances, the band gradually gained attention from early listeners, including an appearance at 『NAKATSUGAWA SOLAR BUDOKAN』 in 2023. After releasing several singles, they released their EP 『Lost Humanity』 in 2024.
In August 2025, the group moved to Tokyo to further expand their musical activities. They released the single 『Visitor』 in December 2025, followed by their first full-length album 『Ahiru no Techo』 on June 10, 2026. Around the same period, drummer Tsuru-Sho joined as a new member.
Their first album 『Ahiru no Techo』 was created around the theme of “life and music.” The title was named as a tribute to the Japanese lifestyle magazine 『Kurashi no Techo』.

    • 大阪発、MCにBlack petrolのメンバーでもあるSOMAOTAを擁する4人組オルタナティブバンド・DUCK HOUSEが、1stアルバム『家鴨の手帖』をリリース。バンド名の“家鴨”と、敬愛する雑誌『暮しの手帖』を重ね合わせたタイトルが示す通り、本作にはシェアハウスでの共同生活から生まれた日々の記憶や感情が丁寧に編み込まれている。（）
