Ayane Yamazaki

At the age of 17, Ayane Yamazaki made her debut at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 2016.
In October 2019, she debuted internationally with the album "LIFE" under the British label/agency AWAL. Following that, she released the single "Teach Me Magic" and the album "Called For."
Her music garnered attention from media outlets in Europe, North America, South America, Oceania, Africa, and Asia. Her tracks were featured on various playlists. She achieved the top position on Germany's indie charts twice.
She gradually became a topic of discussion among young and emerging indie music enthusiasts worldwide.
In 2021, she transferred to the label/agency FRIENDSHIP, to extend her reach from Japan to the global stage.
She released the album "Ribbon," which received heavy rotation and recommendations on over 30 radio stations and media outlets in Europe and North America, especially on alternative and college radio. She was recognized as Best Indie Artist in Germany, the United States, and Spain. Several of her songs were selected for various playlists.
In March 2022, she started a regular program on the new alternative radio station "Blue Torch Radio" in London, UK. The program, titled "Swing Slow Swim," is entirely broadcast in Japanese.
In May of the same year, she released the album "Highway of Souls," a fusion of love songs and social consciousness. It received airplay on college and alternative radio stations worldwide, led to special programs, and marked her first guest appearance. Her music found a place on numerous playlists, and she was selected to be the top cover of the well-known Japanese playlist "Sparkling Pop: Japan" on SpotifyJP.
The soothing sounds of her vocals are gradually but steadily reaching indie and alternative music enthusiasts all over the world.
